Our History:

 

The four founding members formed Coast Surgical Group in 1994: Dr. Frank Hernandez, Dr. Nolan Johnson, Dr. Walt Fahlsing, and Dr. Mort Jorgensen. The group has since established itself as the largest general surgical group serving the South Bay of San Diego County. Today, Dr. Hugo Barrera, Dr. Stephen Summers, Dr. Rodolfo Arcovedo, Dr. Yifan Yang, Dr. Blake Spitzer, and Dr. Clifton Ewbank take care of the surgical needs of our community.

 

Coast Surgical Group specializes in all aspects of general surgery including cancer surgery, abdominal surgery, surgery of the breast, hernia surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and advanced laparoscopic operations.

 

Welcome to Coast Surgical Group's website. We are physically located in California and are specialists in general surgery and laparoscopic surgery.
